EDM #126: Draw a Sponge

I've been out of the Everyday Matters loop for a few weeks. Vacation and work have taken me away from sketching this summer.

Tonight I looked around the house to see if we had any sponges. I couldn't find any, so I bought a pack of 99 cent sponges at the store. Here they are on one of my antique plates. They kind of look like slices of sponge cake.

I laughed when I read you had to go out and buy some. These are so well done. Good to see you back in the art groove.

Nice to see you back - the sponges are wonderful. I love that they are all lined up clean and neat and tidy. So unlike any sponges in my house! Funny that you had to go by them. What will you do with them now?

Great pics of your trip to Sunriver btw (espec. that one of the fence). It looks absolutely beautiful. I am adding it to my places to visit.

LOL! Sponge cake. I love the plate and the way you've arranged the sponges. I really appreciate how people take such time to set up a "study" of the EDM before they draw things. Nice job!
Cheers!

Nice spongi (plural for sponge). Do you take requests? How about a chain ring?

Hi Everyone - thanks for your comments! Nice to see you all again!

Snakebite, I have to look around for a chain ring and see what I can do with it.
