Here's my drawing of our salt and pepper shakers. We actually do have real salt and pepper shakers, for when company comes over. But for everyday use, we just use these.
I'm happy with the salt shaker, but the pepper box looks a bit too angled. It doesn't have the same perspective as the salt. It's always easier to see these things in a photo rather than the actual drawing.

I don't think the pepper is too angled - it looks GREAT to me!! Both shakers are fabulous, you did a wonderful job!!
BEAUTIFULLY DONE!!! COLORS, LINES -- I LIKE THESE!!!
Perspective can be a complicated thing, you did fine! That you are aware of looking for it is a big chunk of it! I still mess it up! Great work!
These are great. Nice reflection in the salt shaker top.
Emma, your salt and pepper ROCK - I love the light wash and shadows, this is the style I hope to create someday -

I love these! Great perspective, nothing to worry about there, if you ask me. The slight difference in angles is what makes this a great drawing with it´s own personality instead of a photo.
We too use two odd thingsfor shakers, the posh good-looking ones are packed away in some box since we never seemed to use them. We don´t even bother to take them out for guests anymore.
Absolutely wonderful! I really like the angles -- a very fresh and spontaneous drawing with personality plus!
;-)
Wow, wonderful salt and pepper! Just wonderful!
Thanks to all of you for taking a look at my drawing and for posting your kind comments. It's been such fun to dabble in art and visit your blogs and photo sites. Such creative people!
Who knew that someone could make something as simple as salt and pepper shakers into a wonderful piece of art? Beautiful!
great work, especially on the cap of the salt shaker. i also love the shading on the salt! :)
Really nice. Love the colour green and how you've picked it up in the shaker. Cheers! Mary Ellen
I love your style! Very appealing.
Beautiful. I especially like the shadows.
These are great, Emma...and I think the imperfect angles make for art with personality.
Leo did some beautiful photographs of kitchen items: cups, 3 pieces of silverware, etc. and came up with a great series.
EDM looks interesting, but for now my creativity(?) is dribbling into papers for class....
Excellent drawing!
Chris
